Situated just sixteen miles from the capital of California, Sacramento, is the thriving city of Roseville, Placer County. It lies on the eastern edge of the Sacramento Valley, near the base of the Sierra Nevada foot hills. It was incorporated on the 10th of April, 1909 and has since developed a population of over 104,655. The fine wineries of Napa are located only 30 minutes away, as are Lake Tahoe and Folsom Lake. Roseville has a lot of parks and golf courses together with thousands of acres of open space.

There are lots of colleges nearby, with California State University, Sacramento, Sierra Community College, and the University of California, Davis all within a thirty minute drive away.
