The city of Antioch is located right off Highway 4 in Contra Costa County, and is referred to as the Gateway to the Delta. It has a population just more than 100,000 individuals. Situated upstream from Antioch Bridge is the San Joaquin River, which is also considered a major fishing spot.
In Antioch, the main provider of public transportation is the Tri-Delta Transit, though the County Connection bus 930 likewise goes and connects to Mitchell Park n' Ride, Railroad Castlewood, John Muir Medical Center, Hillcrest Park n' Ride and Delta Fair Sommersville. The two main stations which can be found in this area are the Pittsburgh/Bay Point Station in Pittsburgh and Antioch-Pittsburgh Amtrak. Access to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is located at the Pittsburgh/Bay Point Station.
